year agoPut our name into waitlist through google maps and it was so easy! When we got there we were greeted outside and shown our seats. Everyone who worked there was so lovely to talk to. Service was great. Loved the cozy atmosphere and variety of drinks.

9 months agoLove going here for a night cap; they have a huge menu of cocktails and if you can’t find something they’ll help you order or make you something off menu! Small food menu of mostly shareable snack food, cozy atmosphere, great for a date or girls night!

year agoGroup of 4 swooped in an hour after doors opened on the first snow of the season. Were treated to a cordial hearth in the form of beverage. We all had something different, in order of the photos it was the daquiri, whiskey sour, one small step for mango, and tommy the cat. Service was very attentive and clearly wanted us to have a good time. Will definitely be back for pre and/or post dinner drinks, if not to just get the theme song from bananas in pajamas (one of the cocktails) stuck in our heads.

2 months agoCocktails are 10/10. Food is 10/10. Atmosphere and staff 10/10. Definitely a place I’ll come back to over and over again for a cocktail with friends and family. So happy this place is here!

year agoWe stopped by on opening night at 10pm. Matt greeted us and sat us quickly. My bf ordered an old fashioned and I had a glass of their red blend. A combo of tables, high top community tables, and bar seats. Contemporary decor, limited parking. Looks like they offer some snacks. We will be back!

year agoI’ve been to Off Elm on two separate occasions, once after Christmas and once on New Year’s Eve. I tried Tommy the Cat and the One Step for Mango on my first visit (pictured in the two short glasses) and then the Whiskey Sour on NYE—I loved all three. I love classic cocktails and my whiskey sour was exactly what I wanted for an upscale but familiar drink. Tommy the Cat & One Step for Mango were unfamiliar to me but absolutely blew me away. The kind of science and expertise that goes into these beverages is monumental. Patrick has put together a fantastic team of professionals who really know their stuff. Take a risk and try some of their house cocktails!!! I loved the Mango distillate in the One Step, and Tommy the Cat reminded me of a Negroni—not quite the same but in the same ballpark and it was *fantastic* I will be back!

year agoOff Elm is, quite literally, right off Elm. They weren’t kidding with the name. Congrats to the Bar Keep team on this one, seriously, well done. Pat Gioia and I went full cocktail nerd mode here, geeking out over the history behind several classic drinks. Riveting stuff, guys. Now, Pat also convinced me to try an amaretto sour. An amaretto sour. I had doubts (because I’m not 80 and it’s not Christmas), but wow, that drink slapped. Tangy, sweet, and dangerously smooth. Naturally, I couldn’t leave without diving into the seafood dip #StLouisPescatarianApproved. So yeah, Off Elm nailed it. I am not surprised.

year agoMy husband and I had a wonderful experience at Off Elm. We tried the Seattle Button Down, Nutty Bananas, Old fashioned, Oaxacan Old Fashioned, and the pimento cheese. The Oaxacan old fashioned was my favorite by far, perfect balance of the smokiness with the sweet/floral. The pimento cheese with ritz was delicious. They were very busy the whole time we were there and we had no big service issues. They really transformed the space beautifully. Can't wait to go back!

year agoAmazing place and such an excellent addition to the area! The ambiance was great and they can easily accommodate just 2 people or a larger group. We tried several different drinks, but really liked the Sergio (left) and the Healing Mountain (right). The menu is expansive, I'd love to come come back and try more of the drinks! Service was quick and super friendly, we got to chatting with our server about some of the more interesting drinks on the menu. Highly recommend trying one of their more eclectic drinks because they're made so well!

month agoI come here for two major reasons. The drinks are always amazing, and the bartenders are the BEST in St. Louis. I always leave in such a great mood. It’s the best date night spot. Sit at the bar! You won’t regret it.
